Hawksmoor Restaurant Dublin

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Hawksmoor Steakhouse restaurant on College Green was inspired by the desire to perfect the art of cooking steak.

OUR ROLE

Multitek Construction supplied and installed the new metal stud partition walling and ceilings on the project.

The bulk of the project was reinvigorating the existing ornate ceilings which were to receive upgraded fire ratings while maintaining the fabulous architectural charm of the building. This took a lot of coordination but was a great challenge.

PROJECT DELIVERY

Situated in the ornately detailed National Bank building, the Hawksmoor could hardly be more centrally located. Fabulous for an evening out but less convenient for deliveries, especially as just outside is the main Luas stop.

Early-stage project planning internally and with our fitout contractor client helped to iron out delivery scheduling issues. Design detail was reviewed in-depth and agreed pre-construction to avoid mid-project changes.

Access issues for deliveries on this site were a feature throughout the project but problems were minimised through early planning, good communication and a strong working relationship with all on-site and office-based staff.
